The APO brand stands out with an original story that gives it a fun side, with avant-garde and original graphics, along with a constant thirst for innovation.
APO was created in 2003 by Regis Rolland — a snowboarding pioneer who embodied the spirit of snow sports in the mythical "Apocalypse Snow" trilogy of French films from 1984 to 1986. APO has established itself as a major player in snowboards in France thanks to the company's expertise, its stand-out graphics and its team of iconic riders.
In 2005, the brand enhanced its range with a patented binding system for easy and fast use — the Dual Entry System.
The only snowboard brand to diversify into skis in 2008, APO gained momentum in late 2011 when international star Sammy Calrson, a 5-time X Games medalist, joined the team. In 2012, APO launched their first app, APO Snow. In 2013, they added bags to their range. The APO ski and snowboard collections are designed in France and produced in Europe.
